“When I can easily pause and observe, breathe and appreciate my surroundings, I feel more connected to all of creation.”

I find deep meaning in life when I feel most awake to all the treasures of this life experience…the simple and complex.  I treasure my family and the beautiful and challenging relationships which continue to help me grow and develop as a person.  I love to feel as though the pace in which I am moving through my days allows me to notice the often minute but magical moments in the natural world such as water droplets clinging to the branches of a tree outlining it with crystalline, light-catching prisms, or taking a moment to pause and watch the birds fluttering about my winter garden appreciating the seeds I make available or looking for shelter in the trees and hedges.

When I can easily pause and observe, breathe and appreciate my surroundings, I feel more connected to all of creation.  Deep meaning is also found in the intentionality and aware presence that I can bring and experience in my relationships and interactions with others whether they be family, clients, students, friends or people I am meeting for the first time. I strive to embody the inclinations of my spirit…the experience and presence of the Divine within me.

My vocational experiences in midwifery, teaching and holistic bodywork have been the threads from which I’ve woven a life of service and care. These practices have also been places of intimate life learning, becoming a deep well of experiential wisdom and grace from which to draw nourishment and guidance as I continue along the unfolding paths before me. My personal realm is full of the blessings of family as my husband (and college sweetheart) and I share over 35 years of marriage and family relationships with our three lovely adult children and our beloved animal companions.

In all facets of my life, I endeavor to cultivate a heart open to the Mystery and in awe of simply being Here, Now.

"May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder."
